How to “Do Something With Your Life”

How to “Do Something With Your Life”

“I love how you’re not afraid to try anything!!!”

That’s the message Jennifer (one of my INCREDIBLE ‘First 15’) wrote underneath the photograph of my new haircut when I first posted it on Face Book last week.

The same picture as the one just on your left.

Leaving my career to embark on a brand new venture in a market I had no familiarity with (blogging).

Living out my childhood dreams and pushing the limits of success in a field that is considered near impossible to thrive in (modeling).

Chopping off my hair and having a rustic design shaven artistically into the back.

Jennifer is 100% correct.

I’m not afraid.

Never have been; but it’s because I learned a ‘secret’ many years ago………

Dale Carnegie is one of the most successful and well-know entrepreneurs who has ever lived.

He has a quote on the topic of fear that I want you to read.

Read and digest.

Read, digest and consider.

Read, digest, consider and do something.

This blog isn’t for Mom’s who want to be inspired by watching me do what I want with my life.

Admire as I manufacture success from spit, hard work and ingenuity.

Watch me live out my dreams as they stand in awe at my ability and endless gumption.

It’s for “How Does She Do It Mom’s” who intend to do all that for themselves.

Read this…

Digest it…

Consider the implications…

And do something

“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy”

Perhaps one of the reasons you don’t ‘do’ is because you’re scared….

Stay Sexy,

  1. I love the title of this post: “Do Something with Your Life.” I have been working towards this since the separation, but at times doubt and fear got in the way. I try each day to take action and to keep moving forward.

    Thanks for the inspiration!

    • I have been in your shoes and know well the struggles it comes with. After reading your most recent post I am quite certain that you are on the path to a beautiful destination! :)

  2. I am totally inspired. And to think that your style directly shows your courage — I think that’s awesome. It’s like a symbol on your body that shows the world what you’re made of.

That’s what I want to show on my site because style for us women is so personal. It’s not just about blindly following the latest trends. It’s about doing something fearless to show the world who we are, and more often than not, it’s to help point us in the right direction too.
