Throw Coffee On Your Face?
My experimentation continued this week…
And this one has been my absolute FAVORITE so far!!
You know the used coffee grounds you throw out every morning after you’ve brewed a pot?
Well, stop dropping them in the garbage.
Mix them with olive oil until they combine into a smooth paste.
Olive oil is a natural moisturizer and coffee has both ex foliating and anti-oxidant properties.
In the shower, gently rub the mixture on your face and neck (or your whole body like I do) let stand for about 3 minutes and then rinse off underneath the water.
Your skin will positively glow and be incredibly moist all day long (without feeling oily).
And trust me; the mess in your shower this concoction creates is worth the trouble!
Stay Sexy,
C2

I do this one once and a while! It does feel great and hardly costs anything.
About the mess, not so bad since I’ve read that pouring coffee grinds down the sink also helps fight clogs so there’s an extra reason to make a mess in the shower! lol!
Oh C2! I must say I envy you! You really seem to have it all! You are living every women’s dream. It would be a dream come true to be able to work from home, but your even luckier, you are blessed with a career in “blogging from home”, you get to share your daily thoughts/experiences and innovative concoctions with us!!
Kudo’s to you my dear! You really do have the perfect life! Personally, in my life, I have to juggle 5 things in order to get time to sahve in the shower, so this exfoliating concoction sounds great but who has the time for it? Plus not to mention the cleaning, don’t we have enough of cleaning to do around the house?
I wish I was able to do what you do. Unfortunately, blogging won’t pay my bills and my parents would probably not be so forthcoming in helping me out as yours did with money for an unplanned trip. My dream of sitting around offering advice, creating concoctions and sharing the details of my love life will sadly never become a reality for me.
You are a very lucky women, living what is apparently a great life with an angel by you side. And to top it all off you make it seem so easy! Again kudo’s to you!
Good morning Deez!! Hope you are having a great day. Wanted to take a few moments to reply to your comment…thank you for posting by the way
I live a beautiful life yes…but the most important message that I can share is that it is a life that i created. I know all to well what it is to be running in 5 different directions as well. I was a single mom juggling two careers working 40 hours a week (outside of the home) as a self-employed individual. I know very well how you feel.
The trick and the secret behind all the “tips” I blog about is that they are not time consuming…a person has to shower anyway right? I lead a very busy life now with tons of projects going on…nor do I have tons of time to maintain myself…that is why I have figured out (and blogged about) ways to do it quick and cheap!!
Heads up love…its the mindset that matters.

Ditto on that response Carrie.
There is always time – you just got to make it.
